Add a student and link a guardian

1. Go to People › Students and click the Add button (your school may call students something else, like members).
2. Fill in the student's name and date of birth, then click Create student.
3. QuickKicks opens the new student's page. Go to Account › Family.
4. Click Add a guardian. Choose Link existing to pick a parent who is already in QuickKicks, or Add new to type in a new parent.
5. To give the parent access to the parent portal and app, click Send invite next to their name. They need an email address on file first.

If you use Simple mode, the quick add form asks Who pays? and takes the parent's name and email on the same screen, so steps 3 and 4 are done for you.

Good to know

• One parent can be linked to several children. That is how a family is grouped.
• The parent marked as the primary billing contact is the one whose saved card pays for memberships.
• To start billing, click Add membership at the top of the student's page.
