Build an automated journey

Set up a multi-step email sequence that welcomes, nurtures or wins back families on its own.

  1. In the left menu, open Communications › Journeys and click New journey.
  2. Pick a template and click Use template, or click Blank journey to start from scratch. Templates include Lead welcome, New member onboarding, Win-back and Birthday greeting.
  3. Pick a trigger, for example Lead created, Membership created, Absence or Birthday.
  4. Add steps. Use Email and Wait steps. Other step types in the builder (Text message, Branch, Add tag, Create task, Ask for review) do not run yet, and a journey that reaches one stops with an error.
  5. Click Save journey, then Activate. From then on, people who match the trigger enter the journey.

Journey emails are not sent to anyone who has unsubscribed from marketing email.
