Bring your students and families over

Go to Admin › Settings › Import data. Moving from another system? The guided version is Admin › Setup › Import your existing roster, which also shows export steps for your old system and handles card collection.

1. Pick what to import: Students & families, Leads, Memberships, or Belts / ranks.
2. Under Where is this file from?, choose a spreadsheet or another system, a Zen Planner People export, a Kicksite export, or a Spark Membership export.
3. Upload a CSV, or paste the rows including the header line.
4. Check the column mapping. Match any columns that were not found. Required columns must be mapped before you can continue.
5. Click Preview (dry run). Nothing is saved yet. Rows with errors are listed and will be skipped.
6. Click Apply import. Everything is written in one go.

Order matters

1. Students & families first. Parents, kids and their links come in together.
2. Then Memberships and Belts / ranks, which need the students to exist.
3. Leads can be imported any time.

Memberships come in pending

Imported memberships are pending, with no charge, until each parent adds a card. Use the Re-collect cards step in the guided import to send every family a secure link.
