Adding students and linking guardians

Add a student

1. Go to People › Students and click Add student.
2. Enter the student's name and, if you like, their birthday (used for age-based classes).
3. Under Who pays?, choose A parent or guardian and enter the parent's name, email and phone. For an adult who pays for themselves, choose the student option instead.
4. Click Add student.

If the parent's email is already on file (a brother or sister), the new student is added to that family.

Need more fields (medical notes, preferred name, tags)? Choose Use the full form. With the full form, you link guardians on the next screen.

Link another guardian

1. Open the student and go to the Family tab.
2. Click Add guardian. Choose Link existing to pick someone already on file, or Add new.
3. To add another person who pays, use Link another account holder.

Invite the family to the portal

The Family tab shows whether each guardian has portal access. If it says "Not invited to the parent portal", click Send invite. To invite several families at once, tick them in the Students list and choose Portal invite.

Billing and discounts

Each membership is billed separately. If you offer a sibling discount, set it up under Admin › Settings › Family discounts.
