Setting up your school for the first time

Your Setup checklist is under Admin › Setup. You can come back to it any time. Start with Answer setup questions: your answers decide which steps you see, and the words used for your kind of school (for example belts or levels).

The required steps

1. Make it look like yours: your logo, colors and the name on your emails.
2. Pick your styles: the styles you teach, such as Karate. Every belt and class belongs to one.
3. Set up your belt ladder.
4. Connect Stripe so families can pay by card. If you only take payments by hand, this step is optional.
5. Create your first program: the membership plans families sign up for.
6. Put a class on the schedule.
7. Pick your sign-up gate: open sign-up, staff review, or invite only.

Optional steps

Publish a waiver, Submit a test enrollment, Add your locations (only if you run more than one site) and Invite a teammate. Running more than one site or a team makes locations or teammates required. Moving from another system adds an import step.

Skipping

You don't have to finish every step before you start. You can skip setup and hide the banner.

Add people under People › Students and check your week under Programs › Schedule.
